What happens after you find a rental property?
Open the listing, review the available details, register when you are ready to request contact, and submit the structured tenant request. An active Contact Access package and landlord approval are required before direct contact details are released.
Check the tenancy independently
Before agreeing to rent, verify the property, landlord or authorised representative, tenancy terms, deposit arrangements, safety documents and any other information relevant to your circumstances. FMDirect does not collect rent or deposits, manage the tenancy or guarantee the property.
Questions to ask before committing to a rental
Before paying money or signing anything, make sure you understand who is offering the property, the monthly rent, deposit, bills, tenancy length, move-in date, furnished status, maintenance responsibilities and any restrictions that matter to you.
